Description
Snowflake Obsidian is a natural volcanic glass containing the mineral cristobalite in the form of white ‘snowflake’ crystal patterns. It is typically black with irregular white cloudy shapes (snowflakes).
In addition to the many healing properties attributed to obsidian, Snowflake Obsidian is thought to be especially soothing and calming. It is used as a companion in isolation and loneliness, and thought to aid in surrender in meditation.
Snowflake Obsidian is also used for healing in a variety of areas including helping with joint pain, circulation, veins and muscular aches.
